the Knowledge Xfer, issue 93: Exact Search

Hey Brendan,

Last week we covered a critical step when you're bringing on a new account: creating your Physician Assignments. If you forget to define these relationships your directory records may not be available for selection when creating a case, so make sure to check it out. (And don't forget to set up your User Assignments if you haven't already!)

Now on to the good stuff!

This week we're turning our attention from the Directory to highlight a sexy new feature from our last release: Exact Search.

Sometimes when you're looking for inventory you know exactly what you want. And maybe what you want is "Lot # 123;" but you also have "Lot # 123-4." In the past, searching "123" returns "123," and "123-4," and anything else with "123" in it. And that's just not helpful.

Now you can plug in your search criteria and hit the "Exact Search" button to return results matching ONLY your specific search parameter.

Of course, you can always use basic search to return results similar to the your search parameter or matching only part of it. Whichever meets your needs, we've got you covered.

All the best,
Brendan Sweeney
