the Knowledge Xfer, Issue 69: Shipment Tracking Info

Welcome back to the Knowledge Xfer! Last week we introduced you to the new data field: Manufactured Date. We use this field to track the age of your inventory to support the LIFO/FIFO functionality of our Auto-Refill feature, anchoring to this date to determine which inventory should be shipped. This week we are highlighting a simple but powerful feature that you may not be taking advantage of yet: Shipment Tracking Info.

 

Shipment tracking information can be added to each transfer you make in ConnectSx. This is no longer just a field that stores your tracking info; it actually tells your tracking history and delivery status! Click on the "view tracking info" button to open up a timeline of your package movements. Need more info? Just click on the button at the bottom of the popup to open the Carrier's website and see all the data you might need.

It seems elementary, but this is a great way to share shipment status information across your team so everyone is on the same page, and they never need to leave ConnectSx to access it!
