the Knowledge Xfer, Issue 107: Auto-Fulfilling Requests

Isn't it great when you walk into your local cafe and the barista remembers your order? Makes you feel warm and special, right? What if you could give that to your customers?Last week we showed you how to usethe Preference Card feature in ConnectSx to keep track of what devices a surgeon likes to use in a procedure and even store info about the surgeon's preferences so you can easily call up that info in a case. Don't worry if you missed it; it's here in the Archive.

This week we're looking at one of the most powerful pieces of automation we've rolled out yet: Auto-Fulfillment on Inventory Requests.

Soon you won't have to do anything!

Lol; we don't go that far (but nearly)! Our most recent release added the ability to have ConnectSx fulfill your inventory request for you. Seriously!

All you have to do is pull up the request fulfillment screen to select your inventory, then click "Auto-Select Items". ConnectSx will look at what was requested and will fulfill the request with a selection of inventory that fits the criteria. Then you are free to review the selected inventory to make sure it's what you want.

Just remember, it is picking catalog/lot combinations automatically, so make sure to export the packing slip from the resulting transfer so you can pick the correct inventory for the shipment!
