Hey Brendan, Hope your week's off to a fantastic start after ringing in the new year! We trust you're tackling 2024 with the same energy you'd use to grab the last piece of pizza. Now, drumroll, please... We've got something super cool to kick off your ConnectSx year: our new In-app Messaging feature!
Last year, we released the @mentions feature – your secret weapon for direct messaging, notifications, and linking users within your organization to a specific comment. It's like having your own bat-signal in-app, minus the capes.
To kick off 2024 we're amping things up by letting you make someone a "watcher" on an event, even if they don't have access to see the event details. They'll be on high alert, getting notified whenever a comment drops, whether or not there's an @mention involved.

Introducing the Messaging widget! It's like the Swiss Army knife of communication tools, conveniently hanging out in the lower right corner. Check it out, and you'll find all the Events you're watching with recent comments, neatly displayed for your reading pleasure. You can even add new comments right where you are, without visiting the event detail page.
This is just the beginning (version one, baby!). We're already planning on ways to make it even cooler – think pinning event conversations, searching Events in the widget, and who knows, maybe a feature that predicts what you'll have for lunch. Okay, maybe not that last one, but if you've got ideas or feedback, hit us up. We're all ears (metaphorically, of course).
