the Knowledge Xfer, Issue 59: Container Check-In Workflow

Hey Brendan,

Welcome back to the Knowledge Xfer! Last week we showed you a new feature that allows you to set up a regular cadence for when inventory should be inspected, establishing an inspection history right inside the Console. If you missed it, you can check it out here!

This week we're highlighting a similar feature to track your container inspections or "set check-ins." This is especially useful when kits return from the field.
Every time a tray is returned from the field it must be inspected and restocked before it can be sent out again. But how do you know if a tray is actually ready to go?

The check in workflow lets you record when your trays have been inspected, who did the inspection, and if there are any issues to be resolved. You can even set a red flag  to prevent a container from being sent out until the issue has been addressed.

As an added bonus, this also creates a great check-in history to use for quality and traceability purposes! To learn more, head over to our Knowledge Base.

All the best,
Brendan Sweeney
