How to log device movement in the Console

While the primary way inventory moves throughout the ConnectSx system is inventory requests and transfers from custodian account to custodian account, there are ways to track what is going on with inventory beyond who its custodian is. Update things such as where the inventory is at in the sterilization process before a case or the inventory’s delivery status that provide more information than just who has custody of it.

Up until now this capability was only meant for sales users in the field and could only be done using the mobile app, vTrakr. Now, with this recent release, you can log device movement using the Console or ConnectSx Mobile (Android and Browser).

  1. First log into the console or ConnectSx mobile.

  2. Next, navigate to the Inventory section.

  3. Search for the device or container you’d like to log movement for.

  4. Click on it to open its detail screen.

  5. Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and click on “Log Device Movement/Get Help”

  6. Next, in the resulting popup click on the statuses and movements that you’d like to apply. Note: You may select an option from each section, but not more than one within a section.

  7. If you are adding a shipment status, you may enter the Carrier and Tracking #.

  8. For Product Support click “email” or call the numbers at the bottom of the pop up.

  9. Click “Update” and these movements will be logged in the device’s history.
