Using @Mentions to communicate with Comments in ConnectSx

As of February 2023, comments now offer support for @mentions to tag a particular user in a comments. When you @mention another user they will get a notification that you mentioned them in a comment. This can be useful when having a conversation with a person or team using the comments feature.

To @Mention a user:

  1. Open the comments section on the page you want to leave a comment on. For instance, the Event Detail Page or a Transfer Detail page.

  2. Click “Leave Comment:

     

  3. Enter your comment and include the symbol @ + the user (select from the dropdown that appears).

  4. The @mention should be highlighted in purple like the above images if successfully added.

  5. Click “Save”. The comment will be saved with the mention and the user will be notified.

To check your @Mention notifications:

  1. Open the notifications section from the navigation bar.

  2. Click on the @Mentions tab

     

  3. Click on a notification to open the comment that mentions you.

  4. Use the instructions in the section above to leave a reply to mentioner using your own @mention
