How to manage being a part of multiple organizations
We’ve been hearing for some time from our Distributor and Sales users that it’s a pain to have to log out and log in to their accounts for each Manufacturer, managing different emails and password, ACK! Well we hear you, so we’ve introduced Multi-Organization Support.
What this means is that in the Console you’ll now be able to switch from your account with Manufacturer 1 to your account with Manufacturer 2 with a drop down menu and only have to manage 1 Login!!! It’s our hope that this makes it much easier to interact with your manufacturers, process your cases, and manage your inventory during the busy workday without the hurdle of having separate accounts.
Now don’t worry, Manufacturers, there is no cross over with the reps data. Manufacturer Organization accounts are still completely separate and will not interfere with each other. Users must remember though that their stats and reporting only pertains to the Manufacturer Account they are interacting with at the time, not all of their data among all manufacturers.
Each manufacturer must create your account or invite you to your account using the same email address in order for them to be linked such that you can switch between them.
Once your manufacturer(s) invites you, you will receive an email with a link to claim your account.
Click on this link and follow the prompts to create your account and login.
If your manufacturer created your account without an invitation, you can go to http://console.connectsx.com and click “Forgot Password?” and follow the prompts to claim access to your account.
Next, Log into the Console and select which Organization you’d like to Access (first).
Then Login!
Once you’re logged in you can interact with your data as normal.
If you want to switch to your other Manufacturer’s account, use the dropdown in the upper right corner.
