The Knowledge Xfer, Issue 9: Pending Purchase Orders

In the last issue of the Knowledge Xfer we took a look at how to track sales targets for your sales users on a quarterly basis. If you missed it, you can check it out here.


This week we're going to spotlight a key function in ConnectSx, and one that's critical to your business processes: tracking pending purchase orders. While obtaining a purchase order number can seem like a trivial task, it is a necessary step in the road to getting you paid - so yeah ... pretty important!

As you probably already know, entering the purchase order number into ConnectSx is a simple, but required step in the ConnectSx Event Workflow. Before a case is considered "Completed," an Event (Case) will have the "Closed" status, indicating the event still needs a PO #. You also may know that there is a Pending PO #'s section on the dashboard that displays the events that are missing that information.

What you probably didn't know (yet) is that we've made it even EASIER to keep track of your pending POs by creating an email notification feature that will email you--and the person assigned to the event--weekly about cases that still require POs. Check it out!
