The Knowledge Xfer, Issue 2: Bills of Materials
Hey There, Last week we launched "Knowledge Xfer," a weekly email series highlighting valuable features in ConnectSx. In that first issue we looked at the new "Templates" screen and walked through creating and using "Custom Locations." Custom locations help you to keep track of your inventory and maintain visibility beyond custody of an individual user. (If you missed it you can learn more here). This week we’re sticking with the "Templates" section, and will take a look at how to leverage the "Bills of Materials" feature. Bills of Materials (BOMs for short) are helpful templates which can, when assigned to a container (i.e. tray/kit), show you where you're short and/or overstocked. You can also assign a BOM to a brand new container to help with populating the tray with devices. This will show you, at-a-glance, how many of each item to add, and will give you a visual indicator when items are fully stocked. To learn more about using the Bill of Materials, click here!
