This week we're going to revisit some functionality that we covered in our very first issue, Custom Locations.

Custom locations allow you to define and track where inventory is geographically, beyond simply whose custody it is in.
So why are we repeating ourselves?

Well, like much of the platform, things have changed since that first issue, and custom locations now have a lot more power. You can now:

• View inventory by location in a map view

• Set location while importing inventory

• Change location in bulk when you're creating a transfer
