Introducing Physician Tags

Many of our users find that using the Physicians Directory section of the platform is about more than just data integrity for case scheduling and billing. Many of our users actually utilize the Physicians section of the platform (And Facilities for that matter) as a sort of mini-CRM, utilizing the comments section to build a record of physician notes and preferences. Now we’ve released a new feature allowing you to add searchable notes and statuses to a Physician record – TAGS.

Physician Tags will let you store data that can be searched for later, like Inventory Tags these are essentially user defined search terms. However you can use them in many powerful ways.

For instance, you could keep track of Physicians residencies by entering them as Tags which you can then search to pull up a list of all of the physicians who were at a particular hospital for their Residency.

It is our hope that with this new tool you’ll find all sorts of new and powerful ways to categorize, search, and utilize your physician data!

To add Physician Tags:

  1. Navigate to the Directory

  2. Select the Physicians section

  3. Click on a physician

  4. In the Search tags section click “Add”

  5. Type in your tag

  6. Hit Enter to create the tag

  7. Click Save to save the page
