You’ll need to first download the vTrakr app you are going to be using. The vTrakr app can be downloaded by searching in the Apple iOS App store, or visiting this URL:

vTrakr is free to use, but getting a paid subscription will allow you access to: 

  • Linked Inventory Transfers

  • Automated Inventory Requests

  • Linked Activity with other Users

  • Connect Directly to your Manufacturer

To log in you will need an account - if you have not created one yet, please request an invitation from your manufacturer, distributor, or other case administrator. You will receive an email containing a link that will assist you in creating your account. To log in, enter the email address and password that you used when you created your account. 

If you are logging into the free version of vTrakr:

  1. Click on “Don’t have an account?”

  2. Then enter your name, email, password, manufacturer, and role. 

  3. Click “Create Account” in the upper right corner - and you’re in!

First Steps to take in vTrakr

Here are the basics you’ll need to take care of before you can dive in and start exploring. You can probably figure out a lot on your own, but if you find you have questions you can always let us know!

  1. Download vTrakr * from the iOS App Store for you iPhone. If you’ve already done that, GREAT! Go ahead and move on to step 2. 

  2. Create an Account - The first thing you should do after downloading is sign up with your email address and create a password. Follow the prompts on screen to proceed. 

  3. Add Your Manufacturers by clicking on the “More…” tab along the bottom of the screen and click on “Add Manufacturer” to enter your information. 

  4. Add Your Inventory* by using the navigation bar to get back to the dashboard. Click on “Add Inventory”, and add the required information, like your manufacturer, the product line, and the relevant device. Rinse and Repeat : ) 

  5. Schedule Your Cases by navigating to the dashboard and clicking “create case”, entering the relevant information, and clicking “Save” in the upper right corner. 

  6. Now you’re all set! You can get started using vTrakr to manage your inventory and cases. 

With these steps completed you can add inventory to cases, execute cases, record device use, generate billing documents, request inventory, and more. 

Use the table of contents to find more specific instructions on the deeper functions of the apps. And enjoy!

Note: These steps are geared towards the vTrakr app as it is the most accessible. However, if you have subscribed to the platform and are loading a large amount of inventory, you can run through this in the Console instead utilizing a .csv file upload.
